2 Daily Ferry Services to Ulva Island Scenic and Direct

Our ferry services to Ulva island provide a daily transport option to visit Ulva from either Halfmoon Bay or Golden Bay. There is no need to walk over the steep hill to Golden Bay as both our departures leave from the main bay. You can take the scenic option taking in a number of sites on the way or you can take the direct service providing a quick, direct and comfortable route direct to Ulva. The following are the key features of the two services.

Key Benefits Scenic Ferry Service

• Operates daily.
• Leaves from Halfmoon Bay from the Main Wharf.
• No walking over the Hill and back to Golden Bay.
• Leaves 3 times a day, (see our timetable below).
• Provides a Scenic Cruise to Ulva Island not just a water taxi service.
• Stops or slows at key scenic points for commentary and to view  historic and wildlife sites for photos etc.
• Provides you with comfortable seating, free coffee, and toilet.

We leave everyday at the following times,

Depart Halfmoon Bay main wharf to Ulva Island

        8.30am, 11.30am, and 2.30pm

Depart Ulva Island for Halfmoon Bay

        11.45am, 2.45pm, 5.00pm

• Operates daily.
• Leaves from our booking office in Halfmoon Bay.
• No walk over the hill to Golden Bay we take you, but you get the direct route straight to Ulva in 15 minutes.
• Leaves 3 times a day, (see our timetable below).
• Is as fast as a water taxi but with greater comfort.
• Provides you with comfortable seating, free coffee, and toilet.

Timetable for Direct Ferry Service

We leave everyday at the following times,

Depart Halfmoon Bay main wharf to Ulva Island

        8.30am, 11.30am, and 2.00pm

Depart Ulva Island for Halfmoon Bay

        11.45am, 2.45pm, 5.00pm

Pricing $25.00 per person
